"Oak-Tree Tanzania- Taking action against HIV/AIDS"
A feature by Frauke Pilarek (9 min.)
Oak-Tree Tanzania is a NGO (non-governmental organisation) based in Mbeya/Tanzania. Its priority objective is the struggle against HIV/AIDS and the stigmatisation, social exclusion and impoverishment that accompany the disease.
The German journalist Frauke Pilarek attends the Oak-Tree nurse Upendo Levi Fungo and counsellor Mpale Ephraim Mwamakamba working in the Mbeya suburbs and interviews people affected by the disease. Frank Terhorst’s expert valuation – he works as an HIV/AIDS consultant for a German development service – completes this short documentary feature.
The feature is available on DVD for 16,50 € (plus delivery charges), of which 5,00 € are donated to the Oak-Tree Tanzania. If you are interested in buying a DVD, send us an email.
